MY REVIEW

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
Emotions, sentiments, societal beliefs, norms, rules and regulations, these have forever bounded the realm. We all ought to have our own ways of understanding and accepting the ideals around us.

Qiyasi-Kash-Ma-Kash by author M.M. Khan is a beautiful book comprising of  50 poems. A thoughtful amalgamation of spirituality, love, hatred and a plethora of emotions. The author has very effectively incorporated the reflections, realisations and the dilemmas of his life into the book. It is quite exciting and motivating to witness how the author through his thought process only, tries to challenge the perpetual practices in the society in the form of this collection of his verses.

The basic element that becomes an icing on the cake for this book is that the verses are endowed with Hindi, Urdu and the English language which makes it easy for almost everyone to go through the same. The titles are extremely apt and the flow of the book is phenomenal. It is a complete emotional package all in all.

Most importantly I would like to  also enumerate that this book has helped me a great deal in understanding the Urdu language, which I was keen on since a very long time. Lastly it is a recommendation by author and journalist Kushwant Singh and that makes it a worth reading all the more

I would gladly give it a 5/5 star rating.
